AS ONE UNIT, WE ARE STRONGEST

When you want to build a ship, don't call people together to gather lumber. You must awaken their longing for the great open sea.

The ship Unity is a strong team building concept, where all participants take part in the construction of a giant raft. The goal is that the joint efforts of the participants should go up into a higher unity when the ship is sent out on its maiden voyage. But before this can be done, everyone must participate in the creation.

The process begins with a joint introduction to the task, where the participants are divided into predefined teams, each of which is responsible for a part of the construction. Subsequently, a team instruction is provided with an introduction to the individual tasks as well as a guide to the construction.

After this, each team must independently construct a part of the ship's overall construction and coordinate with the other teams along the way, so that all the parts for the ship can be assembled into a work that is both seaworthy and safe.

Along the way, there are a number of deadlines that must be met and it is important that each team shows commitment and responsibility and shares knowledge and skills. The construction requires everyone to participate and there will be an opportunity to obtain guidance, materials, tools, etc. from a construction market set up.

When all the elements are assembled into one ship, the teams must prove that it can sail by nominating the passengers who will go on the maiden voyage. A journey that begins with christening the ship and sending it to sea.

Only when the ship returns is the journey over and the participants can collectively celebrate the success together.
