We've all seen them! – The films about those in distress on the deserted island, where the only way out is via the sea. It takes creative abilities and technical skills to construct a fleet that is both seaworthy and able to float.

This is precisely the scenario when you have to build your own raft in teams, which must be able to pass the ultimate test; namely to compete in the 'Rafting Rally' against the other teams.

Each team is given a number of simple remedies, which must be built together into a raft that can carry the entire team. In order to succeed, it is important that everyone participates in the solution and that all competencies come into play. It's about working together and making use of each other's abilities.

In addition, there are some criteria that are crucial to achieving the overall goal, namely winning the rally. It is therefore important that the raft floats well, glides easily through the water and that some effective methods of creating momentum have been taken into account.

The team's efforts are finally put to the final test when all teams have to launch the raft at the same time and cover a smaller distance in time. If the cooperation does not work and the participants keep the cadence, then another team must take the victory.

Finally, the winning team is chosen and duly applauded by the competitors. The overall victory can also include achieving the various success criteria that the teams must succeed with along the way.
