Mindfulness is training your mind, where you focus and strengthen your presence in the moment you are in. In other words, it is a mental fitness training where your attention is sharpened around your thoughts, feelings, body sensations, surroundings and relationships .

Along the way, you will be guided through a number of tools that you can use to focus on the moment and push aside the multitude of thoughts. It's about being present right now and shutting down your own impulsive thoughts about the past, future and surroundings.

The mindfulness lesson is conducted as a sitting or lying down activity, where there is a focus on the mind and thoughts through meditation. It takes place in relaxing and quiet surroundings, without disturbances.

Finally, we bring the participants back to a normal state, ready for the challenges of the day.

The lesson does not require special prerequisites and everyone can basically participate. However, we expect the participants to be honest about their mental state, so that the instructor can possibly take this into account.
